IMPLEMENTING, ADOPTING
When you begin integrating new technology into your mathematics and science instruction, you need all the help you can get. At QED we extend our support in helping you get started with the educational software and products we distribute. At the moment our support services are:
Teaching and Learning Resources
One-day implementation workshops
Follow-up workshops

ON-SITE AND HANDS-ON
An effective implementation program is vital to help you get started integrating technology in teaching and learning. There is no better place to run such programme than at your institution, where all the actions take place. Presently we provide one-day standard orientation workshops on using Autograph and Casio graphics calculators and also follow-up workshops for more advanced users. Contact us at pd@qed-edu.com or call us for a visit to your institution to conduct a hands-on session.

ONE-DAY ORIENTATION WORKSHOPS

Getting Started with Graphics Calculator
This programme helps participants get familiar with the operations of Casio range of graphics calculators and explore the many possibilities graphics calculators now bring to the teaching and learning of mathematics.

Autograph Basic and Beyond
The workshop is designed to let participants realize the goal of having students get to grips with many mathematics principles using the versatile graph plotter Autograph. The focus is on Statistics graphing, graph of functions and creating objects and vectors for transformation.

ONE-DAY FOLLOW-UP WORKSHOPS

Engaging Students with Graphics Calculator
The graphics calculator should be used to engage students to take an active role in their learning and involved in cooperative learning. This workshop focuses on group and individual tasks supported with the graphics calculator, and the creation of worksheet and graphics calculator assisted task.

Teaching Secondary Mathematics with Autograph
The goal of this workshop is on using Autograph as a teaching and learning tool in helping students grasp essential concepts in upper secondary mathematics. Major focuses are on trigonometric graphing, implicit functions, quadratics functions, vectors transformation and probability distributions.
